Kareri Lake or the Kumarwah Lake is a high altitude, shallow, fresh water lake at south of the Dhauladhar range. Situated at an approximate altitude of 3000m ,glacial  snow on snow-capped mountains of Dhauladhar Range melts to feed this mesmerizing fresh water lake.

The trek passes through spellbinding forests of pine , oak and rhododendron.
